Shelley Lubben Evades Restraining Order, Then Attempts To Steal Car With Accomplice Jan Villarubia

Bakersfield, Calif. -- In Kern County Superior Court, Tuesday morning, Judge Stephen D. Schuett declined to make permanent a Temporary Restraining Order requested by ex-husband Garrett Lubben and their daughters to protect them from Shelley Lubben.

The judge wanted compelling evidence of the clear physical threats to the petitioners and cared very little for any activity that occurred before June 9 of this year. That's the date of the couple's mandatory mediation and settlement conference. The two appeared amicable, in that they waived their mutual declarations of financial disclosure, and had been able to come up with up a binding Settlement Agreement. It would appear the court officers mistook their eagerness to be out of each other's lives (particularly Garrett's understandable enthusiasm to be rid of her) for cordial amicability.

Because many of the (ongoing) events cited by Garrett took place before June 9, the evidence presented provided insufficient basis for the judge to grant a Permanent Restraining Order. 

Incidentally, here (for the first time anywhere) is the Lubbens' Divorce Settlement Agreement:

I've highlighted the section regarding their eldest daughter's 2015 Jeep Wrangler:

According to Garrett, he"gave her everything up there [in Springville] in the divorce" for a good reason: so that the and his girls could "start over with minimal memories remaining and zero spousal support."

Notice the document contains the clause:

Each party agrees to execute or deliver any instrument, furnish any information, or perform any other act reasonably necessary to carry out the provisions of this agreement without undue delay or expense.

This is important because 1) Shelley has taken no apparent steps to turn the Jeep over to Garrett and/or her own daughter via the California DMV and the loan company. (Their daughter drives it exclusively, and Garrett makes all the payments); and 2) approximately one hour after court let out, Shelley came to Garrett and the kids' house to confiscate Teresa’s Jeep from their driveway!

When asked for comment one day prior to the hearing, Mr. Lubben had replied:

My guess is Shelley will show up with a domestic violence advocate from Tulare County and make a plea to confiscate her daughter’s jeep that happens to be in her name.

He sure called it.  Knowing that Garrett had put down $20k + on the Jeep, Shelley Lubben was willing to fuck over her own daughter to sell it back and pocket the cash from its equity. 

So, Shelley called for a police escort to remove the Jeep which is in her name -- but neglected to inform them that, per the divorce settlement, the Jeep is Garrett's property. That's our Shelley.

Jan Villarubia, Shelley and their "shared daughter" Tiandra, who drove in from Las Vegas (yes, across state lines) to assist Shelley in her illegal plan. Shelley's 2015 Jeep Rubicon is parked behind them.

Garrett writes:

She had Jan Villarubia with her today who was eager to drive off with a $50,000 Jeep. [I'll bet... see here and here -- ed.] My girls were extremely scared and when I came home after being called, Shelley was standing on the sidewalk 2 doors down with 2 police cars and officers who read the divorce settlement and sent Shelley away. All new lows for her which we experienced at the Lubben Haus today.

LOL it always comes down to money for our Shelley, doesn't it?  Always has and always will.

The hearing today concluded with the judge insisting that if Garrett wanted to protect his minor child, then he would be well advised to use the child custody path, which does make a lot of sense in the long run, particularly in light of the blockbuster charges against Shelley that Garrett has already disclosed in writing under penalty of perjury.

This mess ain't over by a long shot.

UPDATE: I am informed that the day after Shelley failed to steal her daughter's Jeep, she called her daughter a "fucking bitch" at CarMax. Nice, huh?

The Strange Case of Pink Cross Foundation's Sal Mckvey - UPDATED

The adult entertainment industry has its fair share of oddballs at its fringes, but in terms of pure weirdness, few reach the zenith that the character known as Sal Mckvey aka Sal Amaya has.

Sal's first blip on porno radar came more than a decade ago, in 2005, when the members of adult forum XXXPornTalk (XPT) discovered him...

It was soon discovered that Sal was posting PRs about himself...

Some appeared suspiciously like cribbed news items about actual adult biz personalities, such as photographer Suze Randall.

But where were Sal's porn scenes? People on porn forums had been enquiring about them for years.

And therein lay the problem: to date, I remain unaware of any available Sal Mckvey porn scenes or clips. There exists no evidence that he was ever a performer at all.

In the fall of 2012, Sal, having failed conclusively at making a name for himself in the adult world, followed in the footsteps of other personalities on porn's fringe -- he signed on with Shelley Lubben and Pink Cross Foundation.

Ironically, Mckvey's name had been mentioned in a Shelley Lubben thread on XPT in 2008

When Lubben first announced Sal’s endorsement of Pink Cross, Sal told a friend that he’d been out of porn for two years, and his only job was “helping out” at the office of a Los Angeles area church. At that time, however, Sal’s Twitter account still retained mentions of “private shows,” and his Twitter and Facebook both featured pics of him in lascivious poses, sucking on a dildo...

...and in one instance, sucking on a penis.

Online, Sal's photos still featured him in full make-up and dressed (unconvincingly) as a woman — and in fact some of the close-up pics on his Facebook profile were actually stolen shots of female porn star Mercedes Ashley! [NSFW link] 

After Lubben was ribbed about all this online, Sal’s social media accounts were quickly scrubbed.

Although an actual porn career had eluded him, Shelley Lubben had made Mckvey an ex porn star.

Lubben posted a "testimony" in his name:

I have done photo shoots with some of the world’s most popular female porn stars and they, too, have to do drugs to get through a scene. Behind the scenes they are not happy. All of us adult stars hide behind our persona when we are on camera but when the camera is done filming, we go home and we are miserable.

I’m just really sick of the drama and drugs in porn. I will no longer spread my legs for the porn industry. I want out and I want to live a normal life. I want to find out who I really am without porn. I don’t want to be that porn character anymore. And I really feel if I don’t get out soon, that I will die.

To the extent that Sal was ever in porn, he certainly left without having to be rescued by Lubben. What did Sal say he received from Lubben? Love, support and prayers – no mention of Lubben “rescuing” him out of porn or of having provided any financial assistance or valuable resources. She cheered him on in the "recovery" he undertook on his own.

But Mckvey was, in many respects, the perfect Pink Cross spokesperson: a straight-faced liar and delusional fraud who was accustomed to getting his picture taken with adult stars at convention appearances, and pretending they illustrated a close personal "connection".

Lubben saw his potential and, in July 2013, named him leader of a brand new Pink Cross Chapter in the San Fernando Valley.

Aside from a Facebook page, and a booth at a peace march in October 2014, not much was heard about PCF/SFV again.

A suspicious "fan page" for Sal popped up in Nov. 2014 which went out of its way to warn visitors:

Remember, Sal was at this time actively supporting Shelley Lubben's anti-porn group and decrying his [alleged] experiences in and around adult entertainment.

In 2015, The Lubbens relocated to Springville, CA, and her husband Garrett was arrested twice  within 30 days for domestic battery and resisting/obstructing a peace officer. His trial date has been set for February 29, but may be continued until a later date.

In January 2016, a bloated Shelley Lubben announced via iPhone video that she had shut down the Pink Cross Foundation:

The Pink Cross website landing page now directs visitors to her personal website -- through which she is still available for paid bookings.

Sal, noticeably more svelte, says he is undergoing surgical transition to become a woman, and has selected the name Mercedes.

Sal also says that, although he still speaks to Shelley, he is no longer affiliated with her. According to Sal, Shelley made about $80,000 off of him through Pink Cross, and all Pink Cross paid for was his tummy tuck and the removal of fat from his arms.

Who could think of a better use of Pink Cross Foundation donors' money than a tummy tuck and liposuction for Sal Mckvey?

Shelley Lubben Confronted by Her Brother During Disastrous PornHarms Webcast

On April 20 & 21, 2012, Shelley Lubben appeared on a pair of PornHarms webcasts which were unmitigated disasters by any metric. Not only did the worldwide webcasts net no more than 30 viewers apiece, nearly half of those viewers consisted of Lubben's own Pink Cross cult members (including Jan Meza and Heather Jabornik), Morality In Media/PornHarms employees (including Dawn Hawkins), her critics (including her brother, Chris Moore), and even her own father, whom she has trashed in her fictionalized life story.

Lubben repeatedly asked for questions from viewers, but refused to answer any of the good ones -- such as when her brother asked, "Why didn't you mention all the love our parents showed you in your book?",  "I'd like to know if God was serious when He said 'Honor thy father and mother'?" and "Why won't you let your kids talk to their grandparents?"

Lubben was furious about the disastrous webcasts, and decided to exact revenge on her brother, Chris, by interfering in his marriage.

Two days later, Chris reported:

I also want to add that Chris has partnered with a well known pornographer and atheist Michael Whiteacre to sabotage my ministry. This man has followed me here in my home town and has made death threats against my family. I tried to warn my brother but he will not listen. I also tried to warn my parents but they have been influenced by my brother to associate with this pornographer. I can send you any proof you want to show that my brother is definitely consorting with a pornographer. I have proof of all of this. I understand Chris is mad with me but to partner with a man who is paid by the porn industry to sabotage my ministry and who sex trafficks women is unacceptable. Naturally, Lubben's letter was full of lies: Whiteacre is neither an atheist nor a pornographer, has never followed her in Bakersfield or anywhere else, has never made death threats, and is not paid by the porn industry. And of course, Lubben's ridiculously over-the-top attempt at manipulating her brother's in-laws failed.
