Shelley Lubben Now Resides in Springville, Calif. 'Tweaker House'

SPRINGVILLE, Calif -- In a development that would be stunning if it related to anyone but Shelley Lubben, the disgraced anti-porn crusader now resides at a local Springville dope house outside of which a man died in a street fight in August.

Shelley Lubben's own home burned to the ground in a drug lab explosion on March 16, 2018.

Multiple sources confirm that Shelley Lubben moved into the two-story house on Highway 190, across the street from the Cowpuncher’s Cafe, in September.

The house is where Lubben's local gal pal resides.

Hit the road

After her home was destroyed in a drug lab fire, Shelley first moved into the home of a woman from a local church, and after being kicked out of that residence she relocated to a mobile home park in June.  In September she was asked to leave the mobile home park, too.

The reason for both moves was reportedly her drunken, outrageous behavior.

It was at the house on Highway 190 that Lubben was served with a restraining order by her ex-husband on October 7. A court date of Oct 16 has been set in that matter.

As one source told me, "It is a green two-story house across the street from the Cafe. It has always been a known tweaker house, apparently Section 8 housing. As long as I can remember tweakers have lived there."

The property is a single family home built in 1913 on a 8,898 sq ft lot. It was last sold for $197,000 in May 2005.

"It’s a known Section 8 tweaker house. People are in and out of there allllll day long," the source said.

Another source reported,

"There has been a lot of drama with [Lubben's female friend]. Two guys got into a fight over her right in front of Cowpuncher’s over a month ago and one hit his head on the ground and died. His name was Sean Campbell."

A man named David Alan Baker punched him, "and he hit the concrete and went kuplurk," a source reported. 

Shelley hadn’t yet moved in there. At the time of her boyfriend Joe Valley’s court hearing on Sept. 14, Shelley was still moving her stuff in.

Shelley claims it's only temporary -- because she's having her trailer winterized!

So, David Baker hit a guy which ended up killing him, and then a few weeks after that he got stabbed by somebody at Gifford’s market. He is now in court-ordered treatment. 

David Baker was charged with felony Burglary and Robbery in April 2017, and pleaded 'No Contest' to felony charges of Domestic Violence, as well as misdemeanor narcotic use in December of that year.

Baker has a lengthy criminal history and has been a felon since at least 2004. He is now facing other charges and has a court date set for October 23, 2018 in Porterville.

Shelley Lubben's boyfriend Joe Valley is due back in a Porterville court October 12 for sentencing in the hit-and-run DUI killing of cyclist Octavio Munguia in 2017, while on the way to Shelley Lubben's ranch home.

Shelley Lubben Served With Restraining Order To Protect Ex-Husband and Daughters

The latest twist in the Shelley Lubben saga finds the assault rifle-toting nut job reunited with boy-toy Joseph "Homeless Joe" Valley at the "Lubben Ranch" property she is trying to unload, and relying on her trusty California Medical Marijuana card (despite having condemned its use all these years), but more estranged than ever from her own family.

As usual Lubben has overstepped -- first, she informed Garrett of her new love affair, then after Garrett tried to make a clean break by giving her everything in Springville in the divorce -- the house, property, cars, etc, totaling more than a half million dollars in worth (in lieu of spousal support) -- Lubben trumped up a bribery charge against Garrett, in addition to the Domestic Violence and Resisting Arrest charges that were piled on him last year at the ranch, after he knew about Joe, but prior to their divorce.

Alone

It seems Shelley Lubben has been engaging a pattern of harassment against Garrett and their daughters, so Garrett asked for and received a Temporary Restraining Order from a Bakersfield court. The Order, which will be published here as soon as it arrives, is noted in the Lubben vs Lubben divorce file:

FLDV stands for the Faith Leaders in Domestic Violent program, and may indicate that the couple sought counseling at some point for Shelley's issues.

PET is traditionally a reference to stalking activity, and CLETS stands for the California Law Enforcement Telecommunication System, the means by which this information was transmitted.

Along with the TRO, Shelley has been served with a Notice to Appear in Bakersfield before Judge Stephen D. Schuett at the court's Metropolitan Division, located at 3131 Arrow St, Bakersfield, CA 93308 -- just next door to one of Shelley's favorite Bakersfield eateries, Buck Owens' Crystal Palace.

The tables have turned, and now everything Garrett has been accused of is being put back on Shelley.

Incidentally, Shelley reportedly placed another 911 call regarding Homeless Joe recently, but they have been reunited for at least the last month or so, and they remain living together at the Springville marijuana pit known as the Lubben Ranch.

Lubben vs Lubben, it would appear, has only just begun.

Court Records Expose Shelley Lubben's Trail of Bad Debts

Springville, Calif. -- A pair of filings in Tulare County courts detail a trail of bad debts left by disgraced anti-porn crusader Shelley Lubben.

When Shelley's  husband, Garrett, divorced her after she cheated on him with a ranch hand named Joe Valley, she received a large number of assets, including full title to a Balch Park Road property (a.k.a. The Lubben Ranch) in her divorce settlement, which was concluded in July 2016.

Readers will recall that Mrs. Lubben's Balch Park home burned to the ground in a drug lab fire in March 2018.

Valley is currently serving a state prison term for the DUI hit-and-run killing of a cyclist a short distance from the Lubben Ranch. A neighbor reported that Lubben was drunk when she drove from her home shortly after the crash, leaving Valley alone on the ranch to greet the California Highway Patrol.

The question of who exactly owns the Balch Park Road property is a murky one, to which we will return at another time. Lubben apparently sold all or most of it to a man named Sirjoe Carmona, but has received insurance money after the fire, which would indicate that she retained an insurable interest.

According to documents on file in Tulare County, Lubben received $100,000 from Carmona in June 2017, plus a $200,000 promissory note, to be paid off at the rate of $1,000 per month.

Shelley also received a large number of assets in her divorce settlement, which was concluded in July 2016.

And in April 2018, Lubben received a $144,000 property and casualty insurance payment for the destruction of her home and personal possessions in the drug lab fire.

Yet somehow Shelley Lubben didn't feel the need to pay her credit debt.

In February 2017, Discover Bank sued Shelley in Porterville for $8984.35 in unpaid charges to her Discover Card.

The bank won via default judgment in November of that year.

The default judgement paperwork:

A second collections lawsuit, filed in Visalia by Midland Funding in March 2018, was also lost by Shelley via a default judgment.

Midland Funding is one of the nation's biggest buyers of unpaid debt, so it's unknown at this point where the debt originated. 

This time, the damage was $10,169.70

Shelley also left Chase Bank holding the bag for $2,453.54, and failed to pay Macy's $8,902.37.

That's $30,509.96 in bad debts -- and there were others for which figures are not available

Let's all hear it for this fine Christian woman who wants to tell all of us how to live.

UPDATE: On January 14, 2019, Department Stores National Bank also filed a collections action against Shelley Lubben in Tulare County Superior Court. The amount of debt in that case is not yet known.

After Drug Lab Fire Destroys Her Home, Shelley Lubben Tries to Dismiss Criminal Housemates as Next-Door Neighbors

Disgraced anti-porn crusader and self-described "professional liar" Shelley Lubben thinks the Tulare County Sheriffs are stupid. As someone who has discussed this case with them, I can assure her they are not.

Shelley Lubben resided at the "Lubben Ranch" on Balch Park Road in Springville, Calif since the spring of 2015. It was her only residence.

I say "was" because on March 16, 2018 the residence on the property exploded and burned to the ground following what authorities have determined to have been a drug lab fire.

The Tulare County Sheriffs issued the following news release:

On 03/16/18 at approximately 0700 hours, Detectives from the Marijuana Investigation Team responded to a residential structure fire located on the 45000 block of Balch Park Road, Springville due to the suspicious nature of the fire.  

During the investigation, is was determined the fire was caused by an illegal “Honey Oil” lab.  The residence was completely destroyed by the fire.  A 36-year-old male and a 1-year-old male infant suffered severe burns and were airlifted for medical treatment.  Tulare County Fire Prevention Staff assisted with the investigation and evidence was collected at the scene.

The residence on the property -- singular, as in ONE residence -- was comprised of two structures that were completely connected.

These were not adjoining homes, they were unified as one residence.

When Shelley Lubben placed the property on the market, this was how her realtor's listing described it:

A single-family house

Note: The "single-family" property contains "two separate but connected homes" and will "make a family very, very happy."  Not neighbors; a family. 

And the property is only one address. One property, one residence, one address.

Finally, the in-home washer and dryer were located on the side of the house that housed the drug lab, meaning Shelley Lubben had to have access to that side of the house.

After transferring title of the property to a convicted drug offender named Sirjoe Carmona last year (under odd circumstances -- no bank or title company was involved, just a promissory note to Shelley Lubben from Carmona), Shelley remained at the property as a "tenant".

Lubben has no job, no investments, no pension, and receives no alimony. How exactly did she pay rent?

It stands tom reason that she had to be providing something of value -- services if not money -- in exchange for a place to live.

According to the mother of her boyfriend Joe Valley, there has been an active marijuana grow operation on the property for some time. And wouldn't you know it, running an illegal grow operation is precisely what Carmona was charged with previously.

Spin

In the wake of the drug lab fire, and following my sharing of Shelley Lubben's connection to it, Lubben has launched a campaign of disinformation in order to try to distance herself from it.

She now claims, with a straight face, that she had no idea what was going on under her own roof.

Even more, she says that the people who caused the fire were her "neighbors" who lived "next door".

This one is my personal favorite:

Ignoring the likelihood that God hates her: this is as close to a lightning bolt laying waste to one's house as one can get.

Okay, so let's recap:

People who lived under Shelley Lubben's roof, were running a hash oil lab that used marijuana grown on the same property, and had blacked out their windows. . .  How is any reasonable person supposed to believe that Shelley Lubben (who smokes marijuana heavily and had a medical marijuana card when it was still required in California) had NO IDEA what was going on in THE RESIDENCE SHE SHARED with drug 'chefs' on a property currently deeded to a man who has run an illegal marijuana grow operation?

Does anyone actually believe that the people she lived with never talked her?

If you shared a house with someone, would you call them your next-door neighbors? Of course you wouldn't.

Money

Now homeless and penniless, and with a family she has driven away through years of misdeeds, Shelley Lubben has her own online fundraising campaign launched by one of her (semi-literate) followers.

Here is a woman who claims to have helped many thousands of people; who says she is beloved for all her wonderful deeds.  So, how's the fundraiser going?

All this time and only 27 shares, yielding a mere $330.  My electric, water and gas bills totaled more than that this month.

Compare that to this fundraiser, launched on the very same crowdfunding site, related to a man who passed away the night of March 24 (only two days ago at press time). 

Barry Wood worked in the porn business as a performer and cameraman for decades and was actually loved by the people who met him.

It would appear that more and more people now see through Shelley Lubben, and that the last remnants of her tattered reputation also went up in smoke on Balch Park Road.
